👨🏻‍💻 Work experience

Sanar (April 2025 - Currently)

Mid-level Software Engineer | Acquisition Team

Worked as a Back-end Software Engineer at a healthcare company, delivering solutions for medical students, residents, and physicians. I am part of the team responsible for handling the payment checkouts across all company products. I contributed to the main Q3 initiative to implement a new checkout flow for a new product launch. Since this checkout is designed to become the single, unified checkout for all products, gradually replacing existing ones, the main challenge was to build a solution from scratch capable of covering all current use cases. The existing checkouts operate under different contexts, acquisition models, and product-specific flows. The goal was to deliver a solution that is scalable, flexible enough to support future products, and maintains a high standard of engineering quality. Throughout this initiative, I participated in technical refinements, trade-off discussions, and decision-making processes. I was directly involved in task planning alongside the team, as well as in the hands-on implementation. At the checkout engineering level, we adopted a custom architecture based on the Vertical Slice approach, combined with principles from DDD and SOLID. All implemented features were covered by unit and/or integration tests, achieving a high test coverage. Additionally, I introduced observability across multiple services using OpenTelemetry, including structured logs, metrics, custom traces, alerts, and dashboards with Signoz.

Mid-level Software Engineer | Payments Lifecycle

Worked as a Back-end Software Engineer at a company in the healthcare sector, delivering solutions for medical students, residents, and physicians. I am part of a cross-functional payments team, responsible for the entire transaction lifecycle across the company’s products — from initial acquisition and subscription recurrence mechanisms to integration with the financial ERP. I implemented significant improvements to the store’s search filters, resulting in a faster and more efficient experience for sellers. I restructured the API responsible for these filters, replacing a single, hard-to-maintain parameter with isolated parameters with clear responsibilities, greatly improving the Developer Experience. Additionally, I added full test coverage, increasing reliability and enabling safer future enhancements. I contributed to the main Q2 initiative to resolve critical issues in the integration of financial titles with the ERP system. I developed a complete proof of concept (POC) to validate the solution, authored RFC documents, and participated in technical refinements, trade-off analysis, and implementation decisions. We implemented an asynchronous workflow based on BullMQ and the Transactional Outbox pattern, ensuring reliable orchestration and consistent event consumption. I also added observability across multiple services using OpenTelemetry, including structured logging, metrics, custom traces, alerts, and dashboards with Signoz and New Relic. As a result, we increased the integration success rate from under 50% to over 98%.
